With UltraClear 4K UHD resolution, the Multiview displays deliver ultra-high resolution images, in resolutions ranging all the way up to 3840 x 2160, bringing particular advantages to applications which demand extremely detailed images. The UltraWide formats enable more productivity with more room for side-by-side comparisons and viewable spreadsheet columns.

Wide Applications Range

The technology and specifications within the Multiview range lend the monitors to be used in a wide range of applications. For example, in Picture-by-Picture (PbP) mode, typical applications may include the simultaneous viewing of sets of financial data, or for weather and traffic monitoring, in graphic design, and in air-traffic control environments. In particular, the Multiview functionality is well suited to applications that involve collaboration; the outputs from two notebooks can be displayed side-by-side, leading to greater productivity. PiP (Picture in Picture) mode is also an option, for viewing external feeds such as live sport while working on a PC, for example.

Whether the user is a demanding professional requiring extremely detailed information for CAD-CAM work, or a financial professional requiring simultaneous viewing of large spreadsheets and files , or a designer working on 3D graphics, the Multiview displays deliver the screen space that complex mega-tasking and professional applications require. With UltraClear 4K UHD resolution, the Multiview monitors make images and graphics come alive.

Features and specifications

Both the 438P1 and 288E2A models offer a wide 16:9 aspect ratio, at 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution, with a refresh rate of 60Hz, supporting crystal-clear accurate image and data rendering for multitasking at the highest professional levels. Both also support a wide array of connectivity options for maximum flexibility and efficiency in arranging and positioning each monitor for effective communication with the audience, including dual HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and VGA ports.

With the 438P1, VESA wall mounting is another option for effective positioning, and the Philips RC6 remote means control is convenient and quick, without an operator having to step between the monitor and the audience. Together these features allow the 438P1 to function as a crisply clear conference-room display for the B2B market, with the possibility of replacing a projector. For B2C markets, it could be the central display for a home entertainment centre.

The 288E2A model in the Multiview series has a typical response time of 4ms (Grey to Grey), while LowBlue Mode, EasyRead, Flicker-Free, and adaptive sync technologies are also featured, as well as built-in stereo speakers for multimedia. For picture enhancement, SmartImage game mode in the 288E2A gives gamers access to ‘FPS’ (First Person Shooting), ‘RTS’ (Real-time Strategy) and ‘Racing’ modes for personal gamer customisation flexibility.
