[Infographic] An Immersive Brilliance When Quad HD Meets the 1500R Curve
A visual journey into enhanced detail and depth.

The standard high-definition (HD) resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels. Multiply that four times and you get Quad HD, with 2560 x 1440 pixels per inch, which translates to more brilliant colors, enhanced clarity of details, and better-defined images onscreen. This is ideal for gaming, but equally useful for work and leisure.

With Quad HD, you can sit closer to the monitor without having to experience image degradation or suffer from eye strain even with prolonged use.

Now pair Quad HD with a screen curvature of 1500R, and you get an immersive experience when using this curved display.

The human field of vision is not flat. With a curved monitor, the eyes are able to take in the whole screen, especially for a display larger than 20”. It is easier to focus without turning the head or changing positions and has less risk of straining the eyes.

The curvature angle, which can range from 1000R to 4000R, is not only the radius (in millimeters) from the center of the screen to its periphery but also indicates the most comfortable distance to sit before the display that will enhance viewing without suffering from visual fatigue.

The higher the number, the steeper the curve, and the farther to sit.

An Explosive Combination

With Evnia models 27M1C5500V and 32M1C5500VL, their curvature angles are a comfortable 1500R, ideal for the 27” and 32” screen sizes, respectively.

A user can appreciate the details viewed from a 1500R curved monitor, including color accuracy, image sharpness, and actual motion of moving footage, from roughly an arm’s length away (1.5 meters). Since these are smaller-sized displays, this curvature rate combined with a Quad HD resolution allows sitting closer to the screen.

If using either of the Evnia models, designed for gaming but just as functional for professional work like graphics design, multimedia or even working with voluminous text and figures, the 27M1C5500V and 32M1C5500VL both provide an immersive experience thanks to these combined features.

They come with Adaptive Sync technology and a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother images no matter what game is played, the least lags, and crystal-clear images even when viewed from different angles.
