In our continuous commitment to a sustainable future, Philips Monitors is making impressive progress in environmental responsibility with a range of eco-friendly monitors. They offer outstanding performance while focusing on energy efficiency and the use of recycled materials.
With innovations like PowerSensor, which reduces energy consumption by up to 70%, and LightSensor, which automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions, among other features, our green monitors are innovative and earth-friendly.
Green by design
Besides reducing energy costs, our green displays are thoughtfully designed with sustainability in mind. By using post-consumer recycled plastics, we reduce the need for virgin resources, minimize waste, and lower our carbon footprint.
Additionally, the materials are carefully selected to be free from harmful substances. These green monitors are manufactured without the use of hazardous chemicals like mercury, lead, and PVC/BFR, making them safe not only for the environment but also for users.
Meanwhile, the carton box packaging is 100% recyclable, and the inner tray is made of paper pulp.
Leading the way in eco-friendly display innovation
One of our top green displays is the Philips Monitors 27B2U6903. This 27" UltraClear 4K UHD Thunderbolt™ 4 monitor stands out not only for its advanced display capabilities but also for its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Eye-friendly in addition to eco-friendly
Philips Monitors are designed not only to minimize environmental impact but also to prioritize user well-being. These eco-friendly displays are equipped with innovative blue light reduction technologies. By incorporating LowBlue Mode, these monitors help reduce high-energy visible (HEV) blue light emissions, offering users a safer, more comfortable viewing experience while maintaining vibrant visuals.
This blue light reduction is not just about protecting the eyes—it also reflects the monitors' overall energy efficiency. Lower blue light levels equal optimized display settings that consume less energy, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
